The Eye of Horus was formerly known as "The Wadjat", and represented the all-seeing eye of the Solar Goddess Wadjet.  Later, when Horus fought with his brother Set for the throne of Egypt, his right eye was injured, and was healed by Thoth - so the Eye became the symbol of renewal and re-birth. This symbol is also associated with Ra, the father of all Pharoahs, who gave them divinity. Both Ra and Horus are depicted as having Falcon heads, and therefore the symbol represents the Falcon shaped right eye.

AZURITE is a deep blue usually mixed with Malachite.
