March is a busy month for Occasions!

Hello everyone, we hope you are all awesomely OK, and feeling the start of the change of season as the air becomes a little milder. We've observed our Snowdrops doing handsomely well at the end of the garden under the plum tree, and the Daffs are already growing well with their swelling buds full of hope and glory for the days to come. Yesterday was our fullest day of sunshine this year so far, and we sat outside at our favourite seaside cafe and watched the sun set. Bliss!
So, it's nearly March already and there's so much happening this month in terms of Special Occasions and events ..!
The 1st of March see's St David's Day and we have a number of Welsh Dragon gifts. We've just taken delivery of a fab oval shaped Dragon Brooch which is about 45mm wide. Also, our Welsh Dragon Pendant is now available with an adjustable Necklace.
Sunday 15th March is Mothers Day in the UK, and we have some lovely ideas here in the shop too. Just click the picture link below. 15th of March is also known as the Ides of March (or the middle of March) and amongst other notorious events on this day, in 44BC Julius Caeser was stabbed by his so-called colleagues. So beware any dodgy pressies on this day particularly if given from a pet dog, cat, budgie or goldfish named Brutus :o)
The 17th March is St Patrick's Day for the wearin' o' the Green and all things Shamrock and Harps :o) Click on the image below to take you to our selection of Celtic & Irish themed goodies.
Happy Birthday to Aries from March 21st!
MOON & EARTH STUFF ... The 5th March is the full Seed Moon. The 20th March is the Vernal Spring Equinox - which coincides with a Solar Eclipse at 09:31 and the New Moon at 09:36 on the same day. The clocks go forward on 29th March, by which time we shall all have earned a good rest!
