How it's made: the design is stamped on to Copper, filled with fine vitreous enamel colours, polished, and then Silver Plated. The back is filled with Triskele symbols and the manufacturer's stamp.

The Triskele or Triskelion, is a motif consisting of three interlocking spirals. It can be found on artwork and everyday objects dating back to Neolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age use in Europe. It is considered a Celtic symbol but is in fact a pre-Celtic symbol. It is carved into the rock of a stone lozenge near the main entrance of the prehistoric Newgrange monument in County Meath, Ireland ~ which was built around 3200 BCE. Like the Triquetra symbol, it symbolises a variety of triplicities in Pagan, Celtic, Norse and Neo-Pagan cosmology and theology, such as "Mind, Body, Spirit"; "Past, Present, Future"; "Land, Sea, Sky"; "Creation, Preservation, Destruction"; "Mother, Maiden, Crone" etc.
